Blooming Grove ISD keeps an open pool of applications for substitute teachers on our website. The applications are made available for review, and will be kept on file for one year. State law requires that all substitutes must be fingerprinted. Fingerprinting is at the substitute’s expense.

Substitutes should have:

• High School Diploma; or
• 48 hours or more college credit hours; or
• Associates degree or above

Substitute Salary Schedule

• Non-Certified Teacher ................................................$90 per day
• Certified Teacher ....................................................$100 per day
• Pay will increase with long-term assignments
